| have you ever met someone who likes to call him/herself hot but in
reality this person's hotness, in your opinion, is pretentious
borderlining disgusting?
but these people keep telling their friends how hot they
are, how many times they get hit on, and they post what they think are
sexy-but-is-acutally-unflattering pictures of themselves on any web 2.0
functions they can get their hands on.....and get this, somehow they
magically hypnotize their friends into thinking they are "hot."
if this model really works, i propose that everyone should just start calling themselves hot. this way everyone is a hottie.
who are you really kidding anyway? hah.

Sat - maybe some seminar thingy in the morning, family bowling, dinner/clubbing in SF
Sun - Connie comes up to interview/visit  yay good luck!

interesting finding
i am sure everyone is aware that xanga has this new function where you
can scroll you mouse over the blogring/ someone's xanga link and be
able to "preview" what's in there. but when you do that to access
someone's xanga, xanga disables the back button on your
internet browser....

| i recently realized that my mom probably thinks i am the opposite of
confident. she thinks the following qualities embody confidence:
1. big noses
2. big eyes
3. tall-ness
thanks a lot mom.....you are dissing your very own creation!!!!
and i absolutely hate this absurd belief that Asian people typically
have: pale people look cleaner. great, so what am i? a dirty bum? well
guess what?! your paleness makes you look pretty DAMN SICKLY 
and btw i don't wear L or XL jeans you malnutritioned salesperson

| Yesterday I couldn't help wondering this over and over again. Is it better to
a) be single on valentines day but have a free day to do whatever with your single friends
b) have a valentine but don't have time that day to spend it w/ him?
so for a good portion of my life I was in state A. but the years when i
do finally get to share this hallmark holiday with someone I am always
smacked with a midterm the following day. (and next years valentine
i'll probably be locked up in the office making love to Excel) So i
guess v-day really isn't for me! anyway this year's valentine is surely
a hectic one. Since I have a midterm the next day and Felix and I plan to do
something at night, I started studying for my midterm in the morning. In the afternoon I went to class and
didn't get out until 9:30pm!!! (no i couldn't ditch, i tried) So at
9:30 we headed to the city for dinner. Couldn't find parking for a good
half an hour and then finally gave up to park in this lot for $13!  And when we got to the restaurant it was closed 
so we walked around some more to find another restaurant that was open. The day ended on a good note. Felix made me this huge
mousse/truffle mixture dessert that tasted absolutely delicious!  Got
home around 12:30 and then started studying...wah
hope y'all all had a much less hectic valentines day than i did!
